Biodiverse constellation: confluence of knowledge at the ConSentido Experimental Botanical Garden (News)
Project summary
The ConSentido Experimental Botanical Garden has been built as a result of a process of scientific development within the framework of phytochemistry and botany linked to the research work of the CIBIMOL and CROM-MASS groups. Its outreach work has focused on scientific processes and sustainable use and today, given the need to generate in people awareness of respect and conservation towards nature, it is considered urgent to work together with other knowledge. The Biodiverse Constellation proposal is built to answer the question of how science and art, through perspectives that converge in a common space, can contribute to educational processes and to the strengthening of people's participation in the conservation of natural heritage.
As a result, it is expected to create content and strengthen spaces, both face-to-face and virtual, that encourage citizens to take ownership of local biodiversity; it also seeks to establish a space for continuous dialogue, through science and art, between the people who visit the ConSentido Experimental Botanical Garden and the plant species that coexist there.
In this space you can see the participation in research projects by the MUSILAB laboratory of the Industrial University of Santander.

The implementation of this audiovisual production would be done within the Flipped Classroom pedagogical strategy, as it is a valuable tool in the development of content prior to synchronous class sessions due to the possibility of being used by students repeatedly and leaving material available for practice outside class time.
